This print was taken from the original which has been sold! I created this piece in June 2020 in response to the police killing George Floyd. My approach in creating this piece was to remind myself of how great and resilient a people we are! It is a black man’s fist raised high with vines growing from it. The vines with pops of flowers shows that no matter how many times we are cut down, we grow back stronger and wiser with the knowledge of our mistakes and power of our ancestors to continue on with no fear.
